- ZP Architects & Engineers, part of the Design/Build competition team, was awarded the project in 2008. The design competition included project design, client meetings, consultant coordination and full construction scheduling and bidding.
- The animal facility includes 2 Dog Kennel Rooms, Dog Quarantine, Cattery and Cat Kennels, Small Animal Kennels, Training Facility, Exam Room, Food Prep and Administration.
- Site design required PUD development of 4 phases in an 18 acre parcel defining the Animal Services 3 acre site. Off-site county road, phased detention and utilities were required.
